Puyallup Medical Transcription, Inc. hires independent contractors to work from their home offices. Work full-time, part-time and weekends. Pay is by 65-character line including spaces. Direct deposit twice monthly.
* Minimum 5 years experience in the medical transcription industry
* High speed internet
* Knowledge of computing and FTP / internet usage
* Multi-specialty experience a plus
* Ability to transcribe .wav voice files
* Professional version of Window XP, 2000 or Vista
* Knowledge of Word
* Independent contractor status
* Ability to format transcription to meet required client-driven standards
* Up-to-date reference materials encompassing all specialties
* Acute care experience preferred
